No No List
At Kalahari Health Co., we've committed to a health and safety standard that goes well beyond what is legally required to ensure the safety of our products and the health of our clients. The ‘No-No’ List™ is made up of some of the most questionable or harmful chemicals that we never use or use strictly to restricted guidelines as ingredients in our products. The list adheres to all the chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union, plus additional chemicals screened by Kalahari that we found could be of concern as a result of long term exposure.
While all of our ingredients are sourced with a higher standard of safety and quality in mind, it is well recognised — and accepted by regulatory authorities around the world — that incidental, trace levels of a chemical may inadvertently be introduced in a cosmetic product due to the complexities of the supply chain and manufacturing process. At Kalahari, we recognise this and therefore work closely with our supply partners to minimise the potential that a product may
contain trace levels of a chemical from our ‘No-No’ List™.
These are the ingredients we’ve pledged to formulate without.
